Back Office Run-time Error ’91’
This error usually occurs when the Microsoft SQL Server is not available. Typical reasons for this include:
- The server that runs SQL Server is not running. The obvious solution to this is to turn the computer on, allowing enough time for all services to start up before trying to run the Back Office application;
- The Microsoft SQL Server service on your server is not running. Click here for our knowledgebase article on Starting the Microsoft SQL Server Service;
- The server has run out of hard disk space and the Microsoft SQL Server service is unable to start. Click here for our knowledgebase article on Starting the Microsoft SQL Server Service;
- Your workstation has lost network access to your SQL Server. Confirm first that your SQL Server is running properly, and that other users are able to access it. Consult your network technician for further assistance.
